What A Wonderful World

from Wonderful World by Matt Dwonszyk

/

about

This is the title track from the album "Wonderful World". It is an arrangement of the classic standard, which Matt Dwonszyk crafted in a more ‘modern jazz’ style. It speaks to the fact that the world is struggling in many ways today, but it is still wonderful too. One of the main ways it’s wonderful for Matt and his colleagues is music; being able to play and compose, while forging relationships with musicians and listeners alike. That is something that Matt and company are truly grateful for; the fact that this message resonates with everyone and speaks to the concept of one human family.

lyrics

I see trees of green, red roses too.
I see them bloom for me and you,
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
I see skies of blue and clouds of white,
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night,
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky,
Are also on the faces of people going by.
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do.
They're really saying I love you.
I hear babies crying, I watch them grow.
They'll learn much more than I'll never know.
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world.
