In May of 2013 and after an extended stay New York, Eva decided to record with the musicians that had become her steady band in the US and who with she had the chance of performing this same year in her country of birth, Honduras. The result is "In Bloom". Recorded in Sear Sound, Manhattan and produced by the highly reputed Matt Pierson. Among the musicians who recorded this album we can find :Romain Collin (piano), Mike Moreno (guitar), Luques Curtis (drums), Reinaldo Dejesus ( percusions) Kendrick Scott (drums) and the great Christian McBride as special guest in a very special duo with Eva.
"In Bloom is made out of 12 songs, most of them are Eva's compositions except for 3 covers: “Whatever Lola Wants” by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross, the honduran song “Puñadito de Arena” and “Glory Box” by Portishead.
